They searched the building for days.
Every stairwell. Every hallway.
But no one remembered a third floor.
And no one had seen Emilia leave.

Her phone was found in the stairwell—screen cracked, battery dead.
Her last message unsent.
Just one word typed: “Wait.”

Security footage showed the elevator pausing at 3:17 a.m.
Doors opening.
No one inside.
No one stepping out.

But in the grainy static, frame by frame,
A blur appeared.
Long hair. Pale sleeves.
Standing still.
Facing the camera.

They said it was a glitch.
They said Mira must have left some other way.
But her friends knew better.

One returned to the building.
She waited by the elevator.
Pressed nothing.

It opened.

Inside: a hallway.
Walls damp with memory.
A door at the end.

She walked toward it.
The air grew heavy.
The silence, familiar.

Inside the room:
No furniture.
No light.
Just a figure.

Blurry.
Still.
Long hair. Pale sleeves. No face.

It didn’t move.
But she felt it watching.

“Kung sino mang maghanap… siya ang susundan.”
(Whoever searches… will be followed.)

She turned to leave.
But the hallway was gone.
Only the room.
Only the figure.

And now, when the elevator pauses at 3:17,
It opens for someone else.
But no one ever sees Mira again.

Only two silhouettes.
Standing.
